A Bright Country Kitchen


Love this bright country kitchen ... it is so homey and inviting. I love the kitchen cabinets painted with a robin's egg color and distressed just the right way to create a more cozy feel. The kitchen backsplash adds a bit of drama and the bright yellow and white dishware are the perfect accent to this kitchen. The small kitchen table on the side gives a charming vibe with vases filled with lovely flowers and the two chairs gives a little modern and industrial touch in this bright country kitchen.

    Now that color is stunning! I am so torn between colours for my kitchen. While I love the natural wood that is part of my décor, I have often wanted to paint the wood GRAY and the walls white, and displaying my white cups, saucers, bowls....so FRENCH. My kitchen at the moment has a FRENCH COUNTRY LOOK that is stunning. But all the ideas floating around blogland are INSPIRING! NOW FOR THIS BLUE...ahhhhh!

    In these days I'm in love with blue interiors. It looks good in kitchens too! One of my interior designer firends said she has to make a kitchen plan in white and blue and she has no idea. Why? I immediately had a vision in my head about a white-blue kitchen :-)

    Love the blue cabinets :-) It's so refreshing to see a kitchen decorated in colours other than white. The combination of the country style with the modern metal chairs really works, and the backsplash tiles are a nice change from the usual subway tiles.
